This is a mains-powered rotary servo drive (actuator) for automatic control of air dampers, gas valves, and other regulating elements in industrial burner equipment. It operates on a 230 V supply at 50–60 Hz, produces a torque of 180 Nm, and turns through a 90° angle in 90 seconds.

Actuators of this kind are selected by torque, running time, control signal type, shaft or coupling pattern, angle of rotation, and the presence of integral auxiliary switches. Before ordering a replacement, measure the mounting flange dimensions and shaft size to match the existing damper or valve. Even when the torque and rotation angle are correct, the supply voltage, control signal voltage, and wiring configuration must be verified, as a mismatch can cause erratic operation or no movement.

Common failures in rotary drives of this class include stripped gear trains after prolonged use, failed end switches that prevent the actuator from reaching its full travel, and seized valve stems if the valve has remained stationary for a season. When any of these occur, the damper or valve may stop responding to control signals, move erratically, or remain stuck in one position.
