This gas block burner is a mid-pressure unit for natural gas. It mounts on the boiler front plate and integrates the fan, gas valve, combustion head, and control components. The internal control box sequences pre-purge, ignition, flame proving, and modulation. It uses electronic ignition and monitors the flame with an ionisation electrode. It produces low NOx emissions and fits the ACV Prestige Excellence 50, ACV Heatmaster 70 TC, and De Dietrich GT 120.

When selecting a replacement of this type, key parameters are the output range the burner can modulate over, the fuel type (natural gas or LPG – conversion may require kit changes), the blast tube length and combustion head geometry, which must match the existing chamber depth and flange pattern. The burner control must be compatible with the system's safety requirements, and the gas pressure and supply line must be adequate.
