Honeywell Cable ASYU2S

Honeywell cable ASYU2S is a connection cable for the U2S series combustion control system. It is a ready-made cable assembly with 12 conductors. It is used to connect flame sensors and other U2S series devices, and can serve as a replacement for standard connecting lines in burner and heating equipment.

Replacement sensor cables are chosen by matching the connector types at both ends to the sensor and the control board plug, and by confirming the cable is long enough for the routing path. The conductor specification—stranded or solid, and wire gauge—must be suitable for the signal to avoid drop. Pre-terminated assemblies should be checked for compatibility with the existing components before ordering. During installation, route the cable away from hot surfaces and sharp edges to prevent damage.

Poor contact at a connector or a broken conductor inside the insulation can cause erratic sensor readings or burner lockouts. Intermittent faults are possible. Check connector seating and cable continuity if the system behaves irregularly.
