Description
This is a gas boiler control box for atmospheric gas burners. It operates at 220–240 V and uses a flame sensor rod for flame detection. It provides spark ignition (DBI) with a preset extended ignition time and a flame failure lockout. The control system is CVI, and the unit is designed to EN 298 and EN 60730-1. It is intended for Mora W 10-15-25-35-40-50 E boilers and connects to VK41 series gas valves via the top connector.

Choosing and fitting
Control boxes of this type are selected by supply voltage, ignition system (spark or pilot), and gas valve series. They mount on the gas valve using the top connector and can be oriented within 90° from vertical. Before ordering, confirm the flame sensor type (rod or other) and the reset button configuration. The control box must be compatible with the boiler's gas valve series.
Signs of failure
If the flame does not establish within the safe ignition time, the control box locks out and must be reset. A reset is done with the own or external button; wait at least 15 seconds before retrying. If the flame goes out during operation, the box repeats the starting sequence. Repeated lockouts often point to a faulty flame sensor rod or gas valve connection.
