Description
This gas burner control unit is designed for direct electrical connection and supports DBI or IP ignition systems. It has built-in ignition and LPG valve support. It works with VR4605 and VR4601 gas regulator series. The unit is rated for 250,000 operating cycles at maximum load, 500,000 safety valve operator cycles, 6,000 blocking operations, and 1,000 hours of sparking. On flame failure, it repeats the start sequence. It fits Viessmann Vitogas 050 type GSOA and Vitogas 100 type GS1A boilers.

Choosing and fitting
Control units of this type are selected by gas regulator series (VR4605 for DBI, VR4601 for IP) and supported ignition system. They are installed with the connector on top, connecting the ignition regulator to the gas regulator from above. The installation orientation may be within ±90° from the vertical position of the electric on/off valve operator.
Signs of failure
When the unit cannot establish a flame within the safe time, it locks out and the alarm indicator lights. If the flame is lost during normal operation, the gas valve closes and the control unit repeats the start sequence. Flame interruptions shorter than the response time may be ignored.
