Description
This control box is an atmospheric gas burner control unit designed for gas boilers, compatible with Honeywell VK41 series gas regulators and De Dietrich DTG X..N series boilers. It controls the main and pilot burner, providing ignition and flame monitoring. Operating on 220–240 V AC at 50 Hz, it consumes 4 W and features a manual reset lockout, a built-in ignition timer, and spark ignition at 6 Hz with 15 kV spark voltage. The unit includes a connector on top for installation and carries an IPX4 protection rating.

Choosing and fitting
When selecting a control box of this type, verify that the supply voltage (220–240 V, 50 Hz) matches the burner circuit and that the gas valve is from the compatible VK4100 series and the gas regulator from the VK41 series. The unit is installed directly onto the gas regulator; a connector on top simplifies the electrical connection. Mounting can be in any position, including within an angle of 90° from the vertical. Also confirm that the application type (direct burner ignition or pilot ignition) and the flame sensor phase configuration correspond to the existing system.
