Honeywell Gas boiler control unit S4565R1055U

Control unit for gas burners and boilers, type VK41, from Honeywell. It operates on 220–240 V and uses ionisation flame detection. The unit has a connector on top and supports LPG valves, extended ignition time, an airflow control relay, and integrated protection. It is designed for DBI or IP ignition systems; variant R denotes an atmospheric system with spark ignition. The unit fits Honeywell VK41 series and complies with EN 60730-1 and EN 60335.

Control units of this type are chosen according to the ignition system (DBI or IP) and the gas regulator series; they connect directly via the top-mounted connector. Mounting allows orientation within 90° in any direction from the vertical position of the actuator. Verify the supply voltage and the specific VK41 series variant before fitting.

When a control unit of this type fails to ignite the burner within the safe ignition time, it locks out. If the flame goes out during normal operation, the unit repeats the starting sequence with pre-purging. If the airflow control relay detects insufficient airflow during pre-purge, the unit stays in standby with the fan running. Lockout can be cleared by pressing the reset button or interrupting the power supply; leave at least 15 seconds before attempting a second reset.
