Siemens Flame amplifier AGQ1.1A27

The Siemens AGQ1.1A27 is a flame amplifier for UV flame detectors. It has IP40 protection. It is designed for use with Siemens QRA.. UV flame sensors and is compatible with Siemens LGB.. and LMV5.. burner controls. The amplifier receives the raw flame signal from the detector and converts it into a conditioned output that the burner control can evaluate for flame proving and lockout logic. It does not perform the ignition sequence or safety timing itself; that is the role of the main burner control.

Parts of this type are selected by the type of flame detector (ionisation, UV, IR), the signal input range, and the make and model of the burner control they are paired with. Compatibility is critical: using an amplifier with mismatched signal characteristics or supply voltage can prevent flame detection or cause nuisance lockouts.
