Description

Kromschroder flame sensor 84315201 is a UV-sensitive detector designed for monitoring flames in gas burners. It is intended for use exclusively with Elster Kromschroder automatic burner control units IFS, IFD, PFS, PFD, flame detectors IFW or PFF, and burner control units BCU or PFU. The sensor features a quartz glass heat guard lens, aluminum housing with integrated heat guard, and connection terminals with a clamping range of up to 2.5 mm². It has an RP 1/2 internal thread and M20 cable gland for cable diameters of 7 to 13 mm. The UV tube type is P578 with a spectral range of 190–270 nm and maximum sensitivity at 210 nm ±10 nm. The distance between the UV sensor and flame should be 300–400 mm, and the sensor operates in ambient temperatures from -40 to 80 °C. It has an IP65 enclosure rating and weighs 360 g.
