Description

This UV flame detector from Kromschroder, model UVC1L3G1A, monitors flames emitting UV radiation. It is designed for use with Kromschroder BCU and PFU burner control units for both intermittent and continuous operation. The detector operates on a supply voltage of 100–230 V at 50–60 Hz and connects via RP 1/2 internal thread with an M20 cable gland. Its sensing element is a UV tube type P578, and it should be positioned 300–400 mm from the flame. The cable between the detector and the control unit can be 2000 to 100000 mm long. It has an aluminum housing, operates in ambient temperatures from -20 to 80 °C, and weighs 1000 g.
