Description

This UV flame sensor from Kromschroder is designed to monitor flames in gas burners by detecting ultraviolet radiation. It is housed in an aluminum case with an integrated heat guard and an M20 cable gland for cables 7 to 13 mm in diameter. It can be operated in ambient temperatures from -40 to 80 °C and weighs 360 g. The recommended distance between the UV sensor and the flame is 300 to 400 mm. Its service life is approximately 10,000 operating hours. It is compatible with Elster Kromschroder automatic burner control units of types IFS, IFD, PFS, PFD, IFW, PFF, BCU, and PFU.
