Description
Spring-loaded gas pressure regulator with Rp 1/2" internal thread and 15 mm nominal diameter. It supplies natural gas, liquefied gas, or air (dry, without condensate) at outlet pressures from 5 to 160 mbar; the factory standard setting is 12.5–25 mbar. Maximum inlet pressure is 400 mbar. The design includes a safety diaphragm, a compensation diaphragm, and zero closure, with a 10:1 turndown. Operates over an ambient temperature range of -20 to 60 °C.

Choosing and fitting
For this class of spring-loaded gas pressure regulators, replacement is selected by connection type (internal or external thread or flange), connection size, inlet pressure rating, outlet pressure range, and gas compatibility. Always check the flow direction arrow on the body. Before ordering, measure or compare the thread size and pressure range of the existing part; after installation, verify outlet pressure with a manometer and set it to the burner specification.
Signs of failure
Typical failures include a torn diaphragm, blocked gas filter, or seized adjusting spring. A torn diaphragm or seized spring produces unstable outlet pressure, which may cause the burner to surge or fail to hold the set point. A blocked filter shows as loss of pressure or flow. Check outlet pressure with a manometer, inspect the diaphragm and filter, and make sure the adjusting spring moves freely.
