Spring-loaded gas pressure reducer with compensation diaphragm, intended for natural gas, liquefied gas, and air. Connection is Rp 1" internal thread, nominal diameter 25 mm. Maximum inlet pressure is 400 mbar. Outlet pressure can be set from 5 to 160 mbar, standard setting 12.5–25 mbar. Operating temperature range is -20 to 60 °C. It has a turndown ratio of 10:1.

To select a replacement of this kind of regulator, verify the connection thread size and nominal diameter against the pipework, and check that the regulator can handle the available inlet pressure and provide the required outlet pressure range. Also compare the flow capacity, which is usually stated for natural gas or air. When installing, observe the manufacturer’s recommended orientation; some models are designed for vertical or horizontal mounting only. Examine the old unit for an integral filter or an external vent line, and make sure those are present and unobstructed on the new unit. If the burner uses pneumatically linked gas/air ratio control, make sure the regulator can accept an air-impulse connection.
