Brahma Gas valve EG40*L*GMO 13950200

This normally closed gas valve, model EG40*L*GMO by Brahma, is a class A safety shut-off device per EN 161. It is intended for residential and industrial gas installations with inlet pressure up to 200 mbar. The valve body is pressure-cast aluminum, with IP54 ingress protection and an integral metal wire mesh filter (1 mm cells) at the inlet. Energizing the coil through a special rectifier provides a high starting power that reduces after start-up to prevent overheating. Connections are G 1 1/2" female threads, and the net weight is 3.7 kg. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally following the flow direction marked on the housing.
