Description

The Honeywell VK4105C1009U is a flanged gas valve for burners and boilers, designed for natural and liquefied gas. It combines a built-in valve and ignition regulator, providing ignition and flame control for pilot and main burners. The valve features servo pressure control, throttle valve regulation, and innovative softlite technology for smooth ignition, with a 1:1 gas-air ratio and an electric two-level control mechanism. It operates at a nominal inlet pressure of 25 mbar and a maximum inlet pressure of 60 mbar, with a flow capacity of 3.4 m³/h at a pressure drop of 3 mbar. The housing is standard, with an inlet/outlet diameter of 18.6 mm, a built-in fine-mesh filter, and a pressure relief valve. It is designed for upright installation, with an ambient temperature range of -15 to 60 °C and a medium temperature of 20 °C.

Choosing and fitting

Parts of this type are selected by checking the flange hole diameter (18.6 mm) at inlet and outlet, confirming whether a side outlet is present, and measuring the pilot gas connection (4 mm). Mounting is upright using the holes at the bottom of the valve; the screen is on the input side and pressure tappings sit on top. Before ordering, match the electrical connection (connector or plug-in rectifier unit) and the closing variant (B+C, B+B, or B+J) to the burner. A fine-mesh inlet filter is built in; an optional output filter can be added.
