This silicone insulator (boot) protects the high-voltage cable connection to the ignition electrode or transformer in gas and diesel burners. It is made of silicone, resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation, with a maximum ambient temperature of 200 °C. Its length is 35 mm and it fits cable diameters of 4.7, 5.2 and 7 mm. It is used together with boots 11PC112013 or 11PC112010. The part is manufactured in Italy.

Insulators of this type are selected by matching the cable diameter and the required insulator length. Before ordering, measure the cable diameter and the length of the failed part, and verify the mounting profile (bore, thread, or bayonet) against the electrode and transformer terminals. The insulator must sit fully over both connection points to prevent leakage. Cross-reference the original manufacturer's code and physical dimensions, as these components are often specific to a burner model.

With heat and chemical exposure, silicone insulators of this kind crack, melt, or become brittle. This causes high-voltage leakage to ground, visible as arcing at the electrode or transformer. The burner may produce a weak or intermittent spark, fail to ignite, or lock out. Inspect the insulator for cracks, discolouration or burn marks, and ensure it completely covers the terminals.
