The Brahma Ignition transformer 15111001 is a step-up transformer used in gas burners, and can also be used in diesel burners when only one ignition electrode is required. It operates only during the ignition phase, under command from the burner control, stepping up the mains voltage to produce a spark at the electrode gap. The transformer supports flame detection via ionization or UV/IR methods. Its ignition cable insulation is silicone, designed to withstand high voltage and heat.
