Description
This high-frequency electronic ignition transformer has a ferritic core and is intended for use in gas and liquid fuel burners. It operates from a 110-120 V AC supply at 50/60 Hz, consumes 30 W, and produces a peak voltage of 12 kV at a peak current of 55 mA with an output frequency of 8.5-12 kHz. The unit has two contacts and is rated for continuous operation (100% duty cycle) over a temperature range of -10 to 60 °C. It features IP00 protection, a built-in varistor, and short-circuit protection. The transformer is supplied with a 560 mm power cable; the maximum ignition cable length is 1.5 m, and the recommended spark distance is 3-5 mm. The net weight is 0.42 kg.

Choosing and fitting
When selecting a replacement ignition transformer, match the supply voltage, the number and arrangement of high-voltage contacts, the type of high-voltage connection, and the mounting configuration to the original unit. These transformers may have single or double-pin outputs and different power cable connectors; also check whether the application requires an integrated EMC filter. Install the new transformer using the correct wiring diagram, and set the spark electrode gap and ignition cable length according to the manufacturer's specifications.
