Description
The Brahma TD1LTCS is an ignition transformer that generates high-frequency, high-voltage pulses to ignite fuel in burners. It operates on a 110–120 V supply at 50–60 Hz and produces a 15 kV peak voltage with 45 mA peak current at 6–10 kHz. The unit uses a ferritic-core transformer driven by an electronic generator and incorporates a built-in varistor and short-circuit protection. It is rated for 100% duty cycle, has an IP00 ingress protection, weighs 0.36 kg, and includes a standard 560 mm power cable. The recommended spark distance is 3–5 mm, and the ignition cable can be up to 1.5 m long.

Choosing and fitting
Ignition transformers of this type are selected by matching the supply voltage and frequency, the number and arrangement of high-voltage contacts, and the high-voltage connection style. Units are available either with a built-in power cable or with a connector, and the high-voltage cable can be terminated by a threaded connection or a 4 mm plug-in connector.
