Brahma Ignition transformer TD2STCS 15911360

This ignition transformer uses a high-frequency electronic generator with a ferritic core to produce the ignition spark for burners operating on gas or liquid fuel. It runs on 110–120 V AC at 50/60 Hz and draws 30 W, with a 100% duty cycle. The output is 12 kV peak at 55 mA, with a frequency range of 8.5–12 kHz. It has two poles and two contacts. Protection includes a built-in varistor and short-circuit protection. The unit is rated IP00, recommends an electrode gap of 3–5 mm, and allows an ignition cable up to 1.5 m; its standard power cable is 560 mm and net weight is 0.36 kg.

Ignition transformers of this type are selected by supply voltage, number of high-voltage contacts, and high-voltage connection configuration (threaded or 4 mm connector). They may be supplied with a built-in power cable or a power connector, and with or without an integrated EMC filter. When installing a replacement, use the fixing method specified for the controller—for Brahma controllers, M4x45 screws are typical—and ensure the valve body is grounded. The transformer can be oriented in any position.
