Description

The Cofi TRE820PISO3 is a winding-type ignition transformer for gas and oil burners. It steps up a 230 V, 50–60 Hz supply to a secondary voltage of 8 kV at 20 mA, with a power consumption of 220 W. The transformer has a grounded-pole single output and operates intermittently, energised only during the ignition phase. It supports both ignition and flame detection, so a single electrode can perform both functions. The silicone-insulated ignition cable may be up to 5 m long; the transformer is rated IP20 and operates in ambient temperatures from -20 to 60 °C.
