The Cofi TRW1P2ER is an ignition transformer designed for gas and diesel burners. It generates a high-voltage spark to ignite the fuel-air mixture during the ignition phase. This compact unit is mounted on the burner housing or a bracket and is energized only during the ignition phase. It features silicone-insulated ignition cables for high voltage and heat resistance.

When selecting a replacement ignition transformer of this type, ensure the secondary voltage and current, primary voltage (commonly 230 V, but 110 V and 24 V variants exist), duty cycle, and physical mounting and terminal configuration match the original. The cable connector pattern must fit the burner's wiring harness. Mounting can be on the burner housing or a dedicated bracket.
