Fida Ignition transformer ECTBD31

This ignition transformer steps up a 220–230 V supply to 26 kV for spark ignition. It is energised only during the ignition period. Its thermoplastic housing provides IP44 dust and moisture protection. A plug connector supplies power, and 4 mm diameter outputs connect the silicone-insulated ignition cable. It is compact and serves as a standard replacement for Fida 26/30 equipment.

When replacing an ignition transformer of this type, confirm the primary voltage (230 V is common, but 110 V and 24 V versions exist), secondary voltage and current, duty cycle, and the physical arrangement of mountings and terminals. The cable connector pattern must match the burner harness. Such transformers are installed in the circuit between the control box and the electrode(s), so verify that the mounting configuration and connector pattern correspond to the original part before ordering.

A hardened or cracked ignition cable can leak the spark to earth, producing symptoms that mimic transformer failure. When this happens, inspect the cable and electrode assembly before replacing the transformer.
