Fida Ignition transformer TE102D

The Fida Ignition transformer TE102D is a compact ignition transformer designed for burner ignition systems. It operates on a supply voltage of 230 V and produces a secondary voltage of 4–5 kV. With a duty cycle of 33%, it is intended for use only during the ignition period. The transformer features 2 poles and connects via plug connectors, with silicone-insulated cables for high-voltage and heat resistance.

The terminal type and cable connector arrangement must match the existing wiring. Inspect the ignition cables and electrode assembly for damage or carbon tracking before installation, as these can cause symptoms identical to a failed transformer.

Typical failures include cracked or hardened ignition cables that leak spark to earth, which may appear as a transformer fault. Carbon tracking on the electrode assembly can also cause similar symptoms. When such issues occur, the burner may fail to ignite or exhibit intermittent sparking.
