The Giersch Electrode 47-90-24921 is an ignition and ionization electrode block designed for Giersch MK2 and MK3 series burners, including MK2.1, MK2.2, MK3.1-MK3.4, LMV, and WK2 models, as well as compatible Enertech Group models. It has a total length of 107 mm, with two ignition rods of 2 mm diameter and 35.5 mm length. The ceramic insulation measures 60 mm in length and 27.4 mm by 9.6 mm in cross-section. Connection is via 6 mm connectors, and mounting uses a 5.4 mm hole with a fixing screw included. This electrode generates a high-voltage spark for instant ignition and is a consumable part.

When selecting a replacement electrode of this type, verify the overall length, rod diameter and length, insulator dimensions, connector size, and mounting hole pattern to match the original part. The electrode must be positioned correctly relative to the burner head, so the bend angle and gap are critical. Ensure the fixing screw and mounting hole align with the burner bracket.
