Lamborghini Electrode 401408

This is an ignition and ionization electrode for Lamborghini burners. It provides spark ignition and flame ionization sensing in gas and liquid fuel burners. The electrode is intended for service and repair of Lamborghini heating equipment. Its materials withstand high temperatures in the flame zone. The profile matches the corresponding Lamborghini burner series.

Replacement electrodes of this type are selected by matching the length and bend of the rod, the diameter and material of the insulator, the spark gap setting, the shape and dimensions of the mounting flange, and the burner series for which the electrode profile was designed. Before ordering, measure these dimensions on the existing electrode and compare them with the replacement. During installation, set the electrode gap to the value specified for the burner series; a drift of as little as 0.5 mm can affect ignition reliability. Ensure the electrode is correctly seated in its mounting and that the cable connection from the ignition transformer is clean, dry, and firmly attached.

Typical failure modes of this kind of electrode include erosion of the electrode tip, cracking or carbon tracking on the ceramic insulator, soot deposits that bridge the gap, and a gradual increase in the gap. These faults can cause a longer ignition delay, intermittent sparking, or complete failure to spark. The burner may lock out if the ionization signal is lost or not established. In burners with a pilot burner, a faulty pilot burner can also cause lockout even if the electrode itself is intact.
