Differential pressure switch for gas, air, and biogas, model DG 150TG-22K2. The switching point is set with a hand wheel over a range of 12–60 mbar; the device resets automatically and the contact activates on pressure rise. It has gold-plated contacts and a green/red pilot lamp. Process connections are two ¼" NPT female ports; the electrical conduit is ½" NPT. The switch carries UL and FM approval and is manufactured in Germany.

Pressure switches of this type are selected by the controlled medium, the adjustable switching range, the differential between make and break points, the process connection size, and the contact rating for the burner control circuit. The impulse line is typically connected downstream of the gas filter. Parts of this kind may be mounted directly on the gas train or on a bracket with a flexible impulse tube. Common failures are a torn diaphragm caused by pressure spikes, a blocked impulse tube from debris, or a drifted setpoint due to vibration or age. These appear as repeated burner lockouts that resemble ignition faults. When this happens, check the pressure switch function by verifying the setpoint and ensuring the impulse line is clear before replacing the switch.
