ACV Flow diverter A1002643

This three-way flow diverter directs the working medium between circuits in ACV hydronic heating systems. It has a diameter of 19.5 mm, a length of 280 mm, and is made of polypropylene. It replaces the earlier part number 49410036.

When replacing a flow diverter of this type, compare the connection size, flow capacity (kv value or nominal diameter), maximum working pressure and temperature, and rotation angle (usually 90°). The shaft pattern – round with a flat, or square – must match the existing actuator coupling. Also ensure that the port configuration (L-port or T-port) corresponds to the original function and that the actuator can be reused or a compatible replacement is available.

A common failure mode for flow diverters of this type is a seized stem after prolonged standstill, which prevents the actuator from turning. Another common failure is internal leakage from a worn sealing face.
