Description
This burner control unit is designed for industrial forced draught burners fired by gas and can operate in intermittent or continuous mode. It supervises the flame via a UV or ionisation sensor (max. cable length 50 m) and provides an integrated electronic ignition with a max. ignition cable of 1 m. The unit allows 2 start-up attempts; pre-ignition time is 1 s, safety time for burner/pilot start-up (TSA1) is 5 s, flame-proving period (TFS1) is 2 s, safety time for main burner start-up (TSA2) is 2 s, and flame-proving period for main burner (TFS2) is 2 s. Pre-purge time is 30 s, post-purge time is 100 s, and the controller enable signal delay (TRF) is 10 s. It features a three-point step valve control, a double-pole 3 A fan relay, integrated tightness control through a digital input, and a flame failure response of restart. The impact- and heat-resistant plastic housing fulfils IP54, weighs 1800 g, operates in ambient temperatures from -20 to 60 °C, and is rated for a maximum of 250,000 operating cycles.
